List of bug fixes and new features[edit]

Can someone please put up a list of the bug fixes and new features being added this june that 4J studios tweeted about today. ExDeuce 19:15, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Mods or Add ons[edit]

Will they be releasing any Mods as Add ons cause there are some mods I would love to have –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.211.109.98(Talk) 17:16, 11 June 2012‎ (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

They should make a DLC with some of the more popular mods –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.159.148.163(Talk) 14:48, 1 September 2012 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

EDIT: The difference between the 360 version and the PC version is that the PC version was originally programmed in Javascript and the 360 version was programmed in C++ and C#. All the modders on the PC programmed their mods in Javascript. Asking the mod developers to make a version for Xbox would be like asking them to rewrite a novel the length of, say, 2000 pages (exaggeration) from English to Mandarin. While it is possible, it's a tedious hassle that most developers would rather not do. If any of you dare say that mod developer's are lazy, try programming a massive amounts of mods in Javascript, see how much of a hassle it is already, then attempt to rewrite it in C++ and C#. See how frustrating it is. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.165.131.114(Talk) 08:42, 17 September 2012 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Minecraft on the PC is written in Java, not Javascript. Javascript is an interpreted language, with no JS interpreter currently fast enough to do something like Minecraft at anywhere near its performance level; Java is a compiled language (well, tokenized; Java actually compiles to platform-independent bytecode, but this isn't an important distinction in this situation). Ignoring that, though, the language isn't the barrier preventing mod authors from targeting the Xbox version, the console itself is: the platform has no mechanism allowing for anything remotely like mods, without first modifying the hardware itself (and voiding your warranty in the process). So any mod author looking to target the Xbox would be better off turning their mod into a game and attempting to get it into the XBLA as a separate title. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 06:38, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
In any case, although Java syntax was influenced by the C family's (which includes C++ and C#) syntax, they are very different. Assuming the mod authors learned/knew C++ and C#, it's very expensive and consuming to get the proper licences and stuff (and if you're deemed unworthy, they won't even let you have that opportunity) for ANY console. Most modders don't expect a profit from modding, but I doubt that there are ANY of them willing to take a loss to port their stuff over. I think that there are more PC players anyways. Gamegirlxl (talk) 22:54, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Mods could be made to act like regular DLC. Adding options to turn them on or off would be helpful. However they would all have to play well with all of the others. The ability to charge a couple of bucks per installation might be enough to cover costs. Deltigar 19:56, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I believe that there will NEVER be mods in console Minecraft due to copyright issues and rules that 4JStudios have made to prevent mods from being used. No support. 73.220.82.148 01:07, 20 May 2017 (UTC)

Oh god.[edit]

Xbox 360 Edition updates and bugs[edit]

Can someone please tell me when creative mode is coming to xbox and me and my friends are having problems with trees not growing when planted...help please... –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Xxxtdog49xxx(Talk Contribs) 01:15, 20 June 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Trees grow 3 block spaces away from each other. Also you may want to use bone meal which is found by collecting 1 bone from skeleton and to make bone meal you simply go to the where you find dye and scroll down and there you go. 1 bone is equivolant to 3 bone meal. To use it simply use the key/ button that you would press as if you were going to place a block down. Trees cannot grow if there is block above it. Creative mode will come out during August ~ September, this update also includes Endermen. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Hellhounder14 2(Talk Contribs) 19:36, 2 July 2012. EDIT September or August, the official date is still a mystery. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.183.99.243(Talk) 19:15, 2 July 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Edit- I found in this update that a tree will grow in a 13 by 13 space that is 6 blocks high. But I don't know about how far apart each tree needs to be.(99.130.173.235 19:52, 8 July 2012 (UTC))

Edit - You can grow trees with only one block in between placement. However, if the trees are underground, you will need a light source. I've found that glowstones around the base work quite nicely. Occasionally, you will have to remove leaves from surrounding trees to get a new sapling to grow if the leaves are within two blocks (upward) of the sapling.

Minecraft Xbox 360 Fileshare?[edit]

Hi does anybody have any idea if Mojang and 4J will add a sort of Fileshare after they add in creative mode for custom maps such as skyblock on the PC? I think it would be pretty good thing. Either the return of servers or plaing with people who arent your friends[edit]

Minecraft needs more online capablilties. Dont just cage us to only play with our friends. Put servers or the ability to host a game and players can join according to settings which are:Invite only,Friends only,Open. So if youve played Castleminer you would know what im talking about. But basically there will be a list of all the hosted games and you can join or create a game. Also make options like Build permissions, kick, ban and so on Playing minecraft alone is boring and your friends are not always online so this is what minecraft needs 68.119.170.213 05:43, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

this will most likely be added with future updates2.127.99.38 11:59, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
I thought of that to but he question is when? Im starting to feel like my 20 dollars for the game isnt worth it –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.119.170.213(Talk) 5:12, 15 August 2012 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
it is it cost the same as pc but at the moment it is not fully deveolped so after a few months it will be like the pc so don't worry also sign your post using the ~ key(it is made by holding shift and pressing the # key 4 times) 94.93.4.42 13:22, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
Btw, the location of the tilde depends on your keyboard layout. Apparently you must have a European keyboard layout because the tilde is almost always located with the grave mark above the Tab key and next to the 1 key. --M0rphzone 21:20, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
well i know there gonna update it all the way to the pc version but the question still remains that will the return of servers come back? Im mean seriosuly my frends arent always online, let alone do i only play minecraft when their on. 68.119.170.213 03:26, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
like i said 4J said they are planning to add it in future updates but it is not confirmed when also the signature thing is meant for the end of your comment not the start 94.93.4.42 10:23, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Update[edit]

I heard that when the 1.8.2 update comes out that all of our previously saved worlds will be erased to integrate the change is this true? –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.117.110.81(Talk) 03:18, 16 August 2012 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

i believe this is just a untrue rumour most likely created by the people who say things like creative mode will cost money so it is most likely not true 94.93.4.42 13:17, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

This is untrue, It's been stated that since Minecraft loads the worlds by chunks if they update and there is a unexplored chunk they could change what was there. So say you have explored the entire map then the map you are on wouldn't be able to load any of the new content but the unexplored areas should generate something new.

)i belive that the update is comming out on tuesday 9th october because it went into cert test on the 4th so ithats what i think ...................................#mcxbla

Yeah, when I updated my minecraft last time my tutorial worlds were still old because they were saved BEFORE the update. So no worrys. Zeeman 04:08, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

1.8 Features[edit]

Will they put all features from PC 1.8 on Xbox? This is of great interest to me also with the fact what button for sprint will they use. I think X would be good and move crafting with inventory.

all 1.8 features will be added along with some 1.9 and the superflat world type will be added next update also the crafting interface has to be its own menu but they could make X sprint and change the crafting to be X while your in the inventory 94.93.4.42 14:29, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
No offense but having the sprint ability on X is kinda dumb because it limits your ability to turn while sprinting. You only got 2 thumbs, so like i said in one o these tppics the best control to sprint is like the one in cod where u hold down the left analog stick and push it foward 24.196.254.21 02:16, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
now they are saying it'll be what you said(the dpad is now third person)or double flicking the stick like double tapping w on the pc version 2.222.141.42 15:35, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Updates above 1.2.3?[edit]

Tu364

Hey there. I was recently waiting for the 1.8 Adventure Update and followed the Reference at the bottom to the page to 4J's Twitter feed. It said that they would be updating the game from 1.7.3, 1.8.2 and then to 1.2.3. My question is does anyone know whether there will be more updates after 1.2.3 or not (seeing as it was the last update stated on the page)? Thanks for the help. 84.13.124.172 21:54, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

there will be it's just when that was posted that was the latest version 2.223.122.167 21:49, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Xbox 1.8 Still Weeks Away[edit]

Dang... Still weeks away. https://twitter.com/4JStudios/status/243016240803762176AJ Ferguson 17:00, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

That tweet was weeks ago. And still no word if the update is in cert yet from 4jstuios. 174.255.125.211 15:20, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Xp not to be added[edit]

since it isn't a feature it can't be added to the main page but Xp will not be added until enchanting is so Xp won't be in the next update(if read after the update i'm saying it was the 1.8 update) 2.219.202.231 15:06, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

more info[edit]

can someone add between 1.8.2 and 1.2.3 'unknown update'since 4J said they will add a update between to keep people occupied i can't because the page is locked 2.222.121.126 22:55, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Concerns of 1.8[edit]

Hey I'm a minecrafter and i have a lot of stuff within my map and I'm concern if we will need to create a new map for the 1.8 update in order to receive the contents of the update? --Hunter 1 04:34, 13 September 2012 (UTC)Hunter_1

Ps3 Update 4 50 Download Size Tu364

I was under the impression that when you update, it will expand the world, and the new chunks will have the new features. (Strongholds, jungles, ect..) 184.1.103.140 17:12, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
no as with the PC version worlds created before a new update will not be changed but sometimes the game recodes biomes one example was in 1.9 snow biomes would overide some biomes and cause it to snow but everything will be the same.so in short to gain the new features you'll have to use creative(not recommended since it disables achievements and leaderboard stats)or you have to make a new world hope this clears anything up 2.223.33.198 00:07, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

Breeding in 1.8 Update[edit]

Why does it list breeding when the citation doesn't mention breeding being added whatsoever? Garz 18:36, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

i say its because people see things with lots of animals in one place or lots of meat and they say'oh they must have bred the animals to get that much stuff'when there forgetting about creative and they are the developers they can just spawn them 2.222.141.42 15:32, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Well, it's confirmed now that there's no breeding. That's why I removed it from the page.

About the 1.2.3 update[edit]

Can we just assume that particular update will be out sometime in 2013? I mean, the game came out in May and it's taken a while it get to 1.8. 92.22.16.127 21:17, 18 September 2012 (UTC)

1.9-1.2.3 wasn't that much change compared to 1.8 where basically minecraft changed completely and 1.7.3 wasn't rushed out due to them fixing bugs and creating the skin packs so that is why that update took so long so at the moment we can't confirm if it will 2.222.141.42 15:29, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Any reason updating to 1.3.2 after 1.2.3?[edit]

You know what? Minecraft 1.3.1 is my favorite Minecraft update, hell, it has been that epic! I've thought about 4J updating Minecraft XBOX 360 Edition to 1.3.2, is there any reasons? Plus, I think that the pick block button is a substitute for the back button. Still, this update may be hard is 4J ever get to it. Do you want this update? If not, then just tell me why, and I have to stick with 1.2.3. (sigh)99.172.128.165 12:13, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

you know you can't not update unless you play offline and they are most likely going to update to 1.3 in about 2-6 months and remember the xbox edition came out in may and its almost on 1.8 compared to the pc version this is good progress so in short its most likely going to come to the xbox version and it isn't that far away90.195.151.158 17:09, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Are you serious about updating?99.172.128.165 17:24, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

you don't get it you can not play online on xbox without updating and i'm saying when they come out with 1.3 i have to update to the newest version of the game and also i have always had gold and its not relevent2.220.106.211 21:36, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Why? It should be relevant! 99.172.133.84 20:25, 6 October 2012 (UTC)

You cannot play online without an update prompt. However, you /can/ revert to the earliest released version by going offline, clearing your hard drive cache and relaunching. Not exactly stable and your pistons will disappear, but that's about your only option as far as time-traveling versions at the moment. It goes without saying you cannot play online this way.Holloway 18:24, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

MInecraft 1.8.2[edit]

I've heard that there will be New Mobs: Endermen, silverfish, cavespider. New Blocks: stone bricks, stone bricks stairs/ slabs, fence gates, glass planes, iron bars, melons. Creative Mode, experience bar, breeding, enchanting table. Generated Structures: ravens, NPC villages, Strong holds, mine shafts. New Biomes: ocean(on the floor there will be clay), mountain, snow, swamp. Combat Mechanics: critical hits, charging bows, block attacks. Food System: stackable food, food meter, sprinting, melon slices, beef, rotten flesh, chicken, apples

Puppielove 19:24, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

thats kind of obvious since they were added in 1.8 but you got a few things wrong the exp bar and enchanting won't be added90.195.151.158 23:47, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

Who keeps screwing with the date?[edit]

Ok someone keeps saying that it is going to be released on the 28 and saying its confirmed, then its TBA, then its Halloween, make up your mind, seriously 76.178.130.226 02:31, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

I know right!?!?!?! Some idiots just can't keep their hands off of the release date. I've been following this page for over four months, and the release date has probably changed 30 times! It gets SO annoying! 184.1.103.140 02:38, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

Someone needs to stop that Heffe guy hes been revision this page numerous times me and at least two other people have had to revise and restore it.

IKR?! I check the release date everyday cause I want to see if there is an offical date yet! I changed it twice already back to TBA! Really annoying, i know we all want the update already! --Richrocks321 19:33, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

Recent Children's Game[edit]

So someone's been playing around with the wiki page, and adding crap into the coding, editing in release dates that are unrealistic and/or without citation. I won't say any names *cough cough* User:Heffe but I think this person should be disallowed to edit/modify content of the wiki page.

Vandalism[edit]

I know this Wiki can ban users who vandalized, but can it ban people who don't have an account, because some of these vandals aren't even members.--Dragon3025 01:13, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

Yea, IP-blocking. But this may block people who also use the same IP (if it changes to the same IP that was blocked). --M0rphzone(talk) (*How to remove sidebar*) 04:34, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

It says protection level was changed does that mean no on can edit the wiki now? Richrocks321 00:20, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

No one can edit this particular article for a short time. If the vandalism continues after the protection expires, we will be forced to apply some type of permanent protection for it. -- 01:33, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
Given that the edit warring continued after the initial 3 day protection, I have semi-protected this page indefinitely. We prefer to keep an open editing policy to everyone, whether registered or not, but when a page receives the volume of pointless edits this one has, it becomes time for that to change. -- 11:08, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

I think we can stop with the little kid remarks, spamming, and capitol letters. i believe someone should respond before i begin deleting crap that should already have been removed.REXxX11

Release dates[edit]

Why was the release date column removed? The information was useful, relevant, etc. I saw the removing edit summary saying that it invites speculation, but that's a stupid reason to remove useful information. That why we have editors, to police so-called speculation. I also so saw the edit summary say that it's always been announced just days before release, but so? It's still useful information. I propose restoring the information. If you're gonna get rid of this one, you should get rid of the planned released dates on all of the pages for upcoming features. CRRaysHead90 06:53, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

It isn't useful information on this particular page. Officially announced release dates, including ballpark dates such as what month it is in based upon info like 'sent to Microsoft cert', belong in the main version history page. This page is only for upcoming features, hence the title. --KanegasiC 14:10, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
Then get rid of it on the upcoming features page for other versions. You just said it's not useful. CRRaysHead90 22:00, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

4JStudios said they will be sending 1.8.2 to Microsoft for testing this week. Hence, release date is revelant since everyone is anxious to know about 1.8.2's release. But i see why you deleted it, everyone kept vandalizing and changing the date. Richrocks321 22:30, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

release date column[edit]

Because of recent changes to the upcoming features the release date column is gone now whenever the REAL RELEASE DATE is anounced i wont get to see it or know when it is coming out. So whenever it is anounced will they add back the release date column and if not where can i find the release date WHEN IT DOES COME OUT D1RTY JESUS 7:04, october 2, 2012

its explained above about why is was removed and you can just look at 4J's twiiter to find out when it will come out2.220.106.211 15:48, 2 October 2012 (UTC)

A release date will never be announced because the exact day of release will never be known until the day it is released. Microsoft is in charge of releasing the update after it gets certified, and Microsoft does not put deadlines on a cert testing schedule. The time it takes is completely variable. It's not like a game such as, say, Halo 4, which has already been tested and certified and approved, and is only being held until a certain date in order to release during a period that their marketing team believes would bring in the most sales. And because there's no way of knowing the release date, taking out the column is a good thing. Historically the wiki has had false info for the predicted release date for every single title update we've had in this game, and seems to have no more thought than 'It's going to come out this month, unless it doesn't, in which case obviously it will be out next month.' It's just a bunch of speculation and rumor mongering, it helps noone and does more harm instead. Like when everybody believed the Twitter hoax where someone responded to a Yes tweet by 4J by asking if the updates were coming in September to make it look like 4J was confirming that. It was all over the Wiki and Youtube, and now half the community is straight up mad that it's October and still no update.TL;DR: the wiki reports on facts, not speculation. Release dates are speculation, and can stay on the discussion pages.Props for finally getting rid of it.68.46.182.213 18:40, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

To the guy above me whe tried to answer my question you are wrong a week before each update released they had a date and the date was allways right D1RTY JESUS

I dunno what world you've been playing MCXBLA on, but they've never given us a release date for any of the updates so far, they only ever announced it when it went into cert with an 'It'll be out soon' and some changelogs 68.46.182.213 02:37, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

When the 1.8 update came out with creative mode and all that, there was a release date set for October 16th and it was announced about a week earlier. But they put the relese date in the column that had what they were going to add/change instead of putting it in a release date column. I have been tring to add the release date column for about a month but people have been deleteing it saying that I was inviting 'speculation' or 'vandalizing' on the page. SOOO, can we please put in a release date column so we know when the awesome new update comes out and we don't have to look in the column that had what they were going to add/change.

Thank You

RTGM007 2 17:25, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

The problem with having a 'release date' column is that almost every edit to it was guesswork at best. With enough guesses, someone will probably be right eventually, but only by chance. It would be nice to know when updates will happen in advance, but we simply don't have that information. 4JStudios has repeatedlydenied announcing release dates. For the 1.8.2 update, Microsoft didn't even tell them when it would be out until the day before. Having accurate information for one day does not justify the weeks of speculation and edit warring beforehand. -- Orthotope 08:59, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Next update yet?[edit]

Hey, guys, just dying for the next update, but when is it? Last date you gave us was in September, and it's October now. Can you provide me and the other minecraft players an exact date, perhaps?

Log into XBL and launch Minecraft. If you see an update prompt, the update is out. Cheers~ 108.167.97.44 18:10, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

To expand on that, the game is currently being reviewed by the Microsoft recert. process. As this wiki is affiliated with neither Microsoft nor 4j, no release date will be available until the game is actually updated. Holloway 18:32, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

4J Studios say that the update will come tomorrow, October 16Dazed Gamer 21:11, 15 October 2012 (UTC) Dazed Gamer.

1.8.2 Bugs on 360[edit]

Since updating i've gotten some new bugs. Can anyone else confirm these:-entities (mobs drops etc) flash in and out of existance -quick moving smooth stone to a chest containing 1 stone block will not add the two values -really effed up village and stronghold generation. 99.50.88.177 02:01, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

There's a whole page for the Xbox edition bugs, you know.IPlas 19:16, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Spawn Egg[edit]

When will the spawn egg come in?

The Spawn Egg will come in the next update, the 1.2.3 update. Go to the Xbox 360 Edition upcoming features page to keep yourself updated.

RTGM007 2 16:01, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

Does anyone confirmed that TU7 will be 1.2.3-based?[edit]

4JStudios said that 'We're considering releasing an update between 1.8.2 and 1.2.3'. IMO this 'update' means bug fix update like TU6. TU7 will contain enchanting you know, but 4JStudios says it's based on 1.9, not 1.2.3. i.e. enchanting bow will not be there. IMHO we should list up only 'confirmed' features.-- AMotohiko 22:28, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

I agree that specific features should not be listed here without explicit confirmation from 4JStudios. I haven't found a definitive statement on Twitter about if there will be a beta 1.9-equivalent update, would prefer to have something clearer than the tweets you linked before adding that to the page. -- Orthotope 08:45, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Upon further investigation, the '4JStudios News' account has no actual connection to 4JStudios, despite the name and using their logo. Being just a fan account, it is not considered a reliable and citable source of information. -- Orthotope 09:44, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Oh, sorry. That's my mistake. We can wait further information from 4JStudios! Thanks. -- AMotohiko 12:09, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

TRIPWIRES[edit]

Can someone add tripwires to the list of pictures because in ref. 13 in the bottem right-hand corrner in the redstone/trasnportation there is a trip wire! So can anybody add that to the list of new features for TU9? ----30joe32

That's a redstone torch. -- Orthotope 02:53, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

Trading when[edit]

When are we going to be able to trade with the villagers in the Xbox 360 version?

There has been no indication from 4J studios that trading will be in the game any time soon. Also, remember to sign your posts with four ~ of those, Louis! Fevi117 01:47, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

TWEET OF TU12 CHANGE LIST[edit]

TU 14[edit]

Hi. If you look closely at the bottom image, you'll see what looks like an anvil in the cobblestone wall. In the top image, the x and y buttons are black, with the letters in blue. That must be XB1. The bottom image has white letters and blue buttons. That must be Xbox 360. Other than that, the person who edited the page doesn't seem to have missed anything, and don't forget: if you want to know other features that they didn't specifically add, remember that it should be equivilent to PC's 1.3.1, with, of course, features from other versions, so look at PC's version history-specifically 1.3.1- to see the other stuff. For other things from PC versions beyond 1.3.1 that are in XB360, look at it's version history. The image was on 4J/Mojang's twitter.172.5.170.9 15:55, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

TU 14 Additions[edit]

The recent image teased by 4J studio also shows what seems to be an anvil in the desert screen. This should also be added to the page unless of course I am mistaken as to what the object is. I'd add it myself but the page seems to be locked. --108.162.77.129 15:58, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

TU14 - Trapped Chest?[edit]

Can anyone confirm that they see trapped chests in the tweeted image that's being used for all these upcomingfeatures? To me they both look like regular chests, but the trapped ones look nearly the same at that distance.Trapped Chests were 1.5 on the PC (according to this wiki's page on them), not 1.3.1.

Obvious Features[edit]

I have noticed the enchanted book and emerald blocks must be added to Xbox 360 upcoming features as it is clearly show in the picture in the anvil GUI, it is the enchanted book and in the inventory the emerald block, so any admin reading this please add this information the Xbox 360 Upcoming features.

Enchanted Book could be added to the list, but there's no need to add the blocks to the list as they are from 1.3.1, so we already knew about those (otherwise, the list would be huge, including everything from PC 1.3.1). 24.14.146.153 17:33, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

Can someone add Golden Carrots to the list? In 4J's third pic (the one with the 4-player split screen) The guy in the bottom right hand corner has his cursor hovering over a golden carrot.198.45.178.154 21:52, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

I have found new features that should be added to the list (within 4J's 4th pic on March 10, 2014) which includes the following: ability to teleport within the game, ability for the host to give host priveliges to other players (which also includes the new teleportation ability), and language translations. 198.45.178.154 20:23, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

Why there will NEVER be mods for console Minecraft?[edit]

I believe that mods in console Minecraft will NEVER happen due to copyright issues and related problems, as one of the Minecraftforum's rules against mods says 'This is against the Xbox Live Terms of Use and the Sony Entertainment Network Terms of Service. Do not encourage modification and do not discuss modification.' So everyone should stop requesting or suggesting mods for console Minecraft! 73.220.82.148 01:12, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
