IF it has a Wisconsin reduceing gearbox, with an 'Overcenter' hand clutch.the Wisconsin books say to use the same oil as the crankcase. The manual has a chart for different temperature ranges.#10 for zero, to #30 for above 60 degrees. However.I use 10-30 in all of my Wisconsin Engines.1 cyl,2 cyl's,. Maintain your Ditch Witch equipment. Read this manual before using your equipment. Keep it with the equipment at all times for future reference. If you sell your equipment, be sure to give this manual to the new owner. The Ditch Witch 1030 and 1230 pedestrian trenchers are designed for easy, efficient use.

have had no problems in 20 years. I've got 14
engines right now.
